Transformation and Patience

Recently, a butterfly died on my porch and when I found it I knew it was a message from that totem. I felt it was deeply sad but special somehow. Butterflies often fly around me and sprinkle their magical energy on me, which of course I adore and appreciate because it helps me to feel the magic of life- of every rain drop, of every sunset, of every leaf, of every atom. Butterflies are important messengers from spirit. They bring little messages of happiness, and a silent confirmation that your inner work is not going unnoticed.
I also find they are beautiful messengers when someone has passed. When my grandmother passed in 2016, my aunt told a story of how a butterfly came and flew around her at my grandmother's house when she was visiting and feeling the grief of missing her while at her home.
I notice butterfly spirit animal comes to my healings often when someone needs her essence and help. To remember the great journey of entering the cacoon after the caterpillar phase, which is deep, personal, dark, yet powerful, and encompasses the emotional weight of all we have been through. The butterfly knows this well and when she shines she reminds us that this period of self growth, and inner learning, knowing thyself; this period of going inward into the depths of our soul and feeling that sometimes empty solitude will sooner be over and the miracle of transformation will come. She sprinkles light on every session and makes me smile with her presence in life. She also reminds me of patience, divine timing, and kindness.
When I look up Butterfly Spirit Animal this is what I find:
